Gold + Williams hire Amado for accessories design

High Point, N.C. – Furniture manufacturer Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams is branching out into area rugs and other accessories, recently hiring Victoria Amado as vp of accessories development and merchandising.
Amado, previously director of design for Gibson Overseas, will focus on developing accessories, lighting and area rugs. She reports to Bob Williams, co-founder and president of design, who designs the accessories collection along with his in-house product development team.
Amado will source and merchandises the line, recommend designs, price the collection and bring it to market. Gold said, "We want consumers to be able to shop in a totally comprehensive Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams environment."
