CHF adds design tech director

New York — CHF Industries has hired Katy Chapman as design technologies director, responsible for managing the company's CAD resources and keeping current with new technologies in the field.
Chapman most recently managed her own business, consulting to textiles and apparel industries in, among other areas, CAD design services and system implementation. Prior to that, she was with Springs Industries as CAD system supervisor; design development coordinator, where she managed the design development process for bedding products; and CAD manager. Earlier, she was with Intimate Resources Ltd., and Gitano Inc.
At CHF, she will report to Joan Karron, executive vp.
