Santens creates product manager role

ANDERSON, S.C. – Santens of America is in expansion mode. The company has hired Claudia Saber in the newly created position of product manager to develop product ideas and handle certain accounts. She started on Dec. 5 and is based at corporate headquarters.

Saber hails from Sears, Roebuck & Company, where she was associate buyer for bath shop from 2003 to 2005. Prior to Sears, she worked for Home Shopping Network as an assistant buyer of toys, electronic gifts and framed art, as well as Marshall Field’s, where she served as merchandise planner for tabletop, china and seasonal goods.

Jennifer Buffalo, vice president of merchandising for Santens, added, “Having someone from a retail background is a new perspective for us. We are very excited about Claudia joining our company; she brings wonderful buying and merchandising experience.”
