NEW YORK — Karsten America recently signed a licensing partnership with OP/Ocean Pacific to produce a line of surf-themed beach towels.
"This is the first time we've signed a licensing agreement involving a strong surf brand name, and we are very excited since it's a perfect fit to our product line," said Michelle Wright, marketing manager, Karsten America. "Most of our properties are character-driven, and OP will help complement our line, allowing us to broaden our target."
The new collection is slated for summers 2005 and 2006.
While still under development, the collection will include several constructions, such as jacquards with special and updated treatments, new borders and colorful fiber-reactive prints.
Karsten America works with several other licenses for beach towels, including Warner Bros. for properties like Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes, Superman and Batman.
We would love your feedback!
