Beth Schommer to Lead Home at Wal-Mart

BENTONVILLE, ARK. —

Wal-Mart Stores has promoted Beth Schommer to senior vp, gmm for the home area. She will report to a new executive vp home, yet to be named.

Schommer was most recently vp sourcing, according to a Wal-Mart spokesperson.

Merchandising leadership in home at Wal-Mart is in flux with the recent shift of Claire Watts from home to apparel; Paul Beahm from hard home to pharmacy; and the exit of svp, gmm soft home Lucy Cindric.
