Retailer names Surya ‘Partner of Year’

St. Louis -- Surya Inc. was named Partner of the Year for 2008 by retailer Home Decorators Collection at the latter’s 14th annual vendor conference here last month.

Surya, a Calhoun, Ga.-based manufacturer of area rugs and complementing home textiles accessories including decorative pillows and throws, has been working with Home Decorators for more than a decade, and it boasts a strong presence in the retailer’s catalog and website, www.homedecorators.com.

“We are very excited to receive the Partner of the Year award from Home Decorators,” said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya. “It is our goal to be thoughtful and innovative in producing the highest quality products at the best value in order to help our clients grow their businesses.”

Surya is a vertically integrated manufacturing company that was established in India in 1976.
