Roswell, Ga. — —
Roswell, Ga. — Textiles supplier JLA Home plans to focus its recently established Youth Home Fashions division on sophisticated designs for tweens and teens, targeting the young consumer who shops at American Eagle, Abercrombie & Fitch and Delia's.
“Although licensing is an important part of the youth business, the growth opportunities are from collections that include complete decorative accessories like master bedroom, but for youth,” said Scott White, vice president of JLA Home.
JLA's youth offerings will go beyond top-of-bed to include accessories like funky chairs, beanbags, plush pillows, throws, window treatments, bath, and indoor/outdoor furniture like hammocks and chairs with awnings.
Products will be targeted for mass market, department and specialty stores, and will debut at this fall's Home Textile Market in New York. The goods will be produced in China, where JLA makes products in about 50 factories.
