At the New York Market — Urbane has enhanced its bath ensemble category with light-, medium- and heavy-weight solid color towels that are available in three dobby borders. Imported from Turkmenistan, each group has its own specific color palette, comprised of six hues each. For the mid-level to luxury bath collections, new offerings include a textured jacquard dobby as well as a double jacquard woven border using chenille in six solid spring colors. The collections in this category include Spring Time and Romance.
To its high-end line the company is adding the Florentine bath ensemble, featuring a sophisticated sheared viscose jacquard tonal design on the body and a woven jacquard border. It comes in five colors.
Other groups in this category include Tuscany, which is piece dyed in five colors and features a flowing sculpted jacquard vine design on the body with a raised textured vine design woven on the border; and the Spa collection, constructed in a two-ply, ring-spun cotton for a dense weave and finished with waffle borders in five soft colors. All the higher-end collections are made in Portugal.
Reflex and Canyon represent the company's natural linen collections. This luxury group is made of combed Egyptian natural yarn and finished using a jacquard linen border. The Monarch collection is Urbane's best solid-colored ensemble group, featuring a mercerized herringbone border and two-ply Egyptian cotton of 800gsm quality. It comes in six colors.
