EA starts work on Shanghai facility

ATLANTA — Vinyl packaging manufacturer EA International Ltd, has started construction on a manufacturing facility in Shanghai.
The new factory will join EA's International Division, which currently has two other manufacturing facilities in Guangdong, China, and sales and design offices worldwide.
"With the increase of textile products being produced in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shangdong Provinces of China, and with the expected increase after 2005, the need has never been greater," said Mark Ye, CEO.
EA currently operates sales and customer service offices in Shanghai. The manufacturing facility is scheduled to open in the late fall of 2004.
