Shabby Chic Heads North

Shabby Chic is headed north of the border.
Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic home brand has licensed with Cherokee Inc. to produce home textiles, furnishings and accessories exclusively for Hudson Bay Companies in Canada.
Detailed terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed.
Brian Dell, president of Shabby Chic, said, “We are pleased that Cherokee Inc. was able to help us partner with the premier retailer in Canada, and know the brand will be a huge success in the Hudson Bay family of stores.”
Hudson Bay Company's nameplates include nearly 100 Bay department stores, 298 Zellers moderate/discount stores, and 48 Home Outfitters kitchen, bath and bedding superstores.
Cherokee is a marketer, licensor and manager of a variety of brands, some of which it owns and others its represents.
