Sferra Debuts Seven New Designs

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/16/2006 12:00:00 AM

New York —Sferra Fine Linens is debuting seven new designs this month. From its new chocolate colorway to its latest menswear coordinate, the luxury bedding company's latest introductions feature palettes and jacquards that work back to existing collections.

Sferra's classically striped jacquard Presidio, ornate scrollwork jacquard Ilaria and sophisticated Olympia matelasse blanket are all being offered in the lush new chocolate brown.

Other new styles include Winslow, Harlow, Rosina and Grand Hotel Matelasse. Winslow is a smoking jacket-inspired classical coin motif on a dark jacquard in 590-count Italian Egyptian cotton sateen for duvet covers and shams. Harlow, in the same construction and thread count, offers subtle glimmer; it is delicately stitched with an inset of Italian lace, evocative of ornate metalwork.

Rosina sheeting presents a wistful bow to Asian-inspired decorative arts with an ornate garland of embroidered intertwined roses along the cuff on a 406-count Italian Egyptian cotton percale. Grand Hotel Matelasse blends an artful straightedge appeal with a feeling of a classical hotel coverlet and a fine traditional bengaline in white coverlets and shams that coordinate with Grande Hotel sheeting.
