Millstein takes key role at Tai Ping

New York – Alan Millstein has joined Bangkok-based carpet and rug maker Tai Ping as global managing director for the company’s RBC (residential/boutique/contract) division.
He was most recently an employee of Knoll International, the global high-end furniture company. At Knoll, he held a variety of senior management positions, at one point running Knoll’s two largest sales divisions along with a three-year assignment as president of Knoll Europe.
Millstein will report directly to Tai Ping ceo Jim Kaplan and will be based in the New York office.
