Kohl's in search of evp-product development

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 4/5/2004 12:00:00 AM

Kohl's Department Stores is realigning its merchandise executive team.

The company will move from two to three executive vice presidents-general merchandise managers. In addition, it has engaged in a search for an executive vice president-product development, a newly created position.

While Kohl's continues to expect private brands to comprise approximately 20 to 25 percent of the business, this new position will provide enhanced oversight to all private brand product development, said the company.

The three executive vice presidents-general merchandise managers are as follows:

David Campisi has been appointed executive vice president-general merchandise manager Women's Apparel and Accessories. Campisi joins Kohl's after eight years at Fred Meyer, a multi-department retailer, which is a division of Kroger Co.

Donald Brennan has been appointed executive vice president-general merchandise manager, Men's and Children's. Brennan was previously executive vice president-merchandise planning and allocation, since joining the company in 2001.

Jack Moore continues as executive vice president-general merchandise manager overseeing Home and Footwear. Prior to joining Kohl's in 1997, Moore served in a variety of merchandising positions with Target Corporation for nearly 20 years.

Further, the company has been engaged in a search for the executive vice president-merchandise planning allocation position vacated by Brennan's appointment to executive vice president-general merchandise manager.

All of these positions will report to Kevin Mansell, Kohl's president.
