Black Mountain, N.C. – Bedding product sales, marketing and design firm International Home Fashions (IHF) and Amtex, a major Pakistan-based bedding supplier, yesterday announced an agreement for IHF to represent Amtex in the United States to certain key retailers.
“We are very pleased IHF will be representing us in the U.S. to mutually agreed retailers,” said Khurram Iftikhar, chief executive of Amtex, a vertically integrated supplier of sheets, comforter sets and related product ranges.
“Their people have the experience and the contacts we need to grow our U.S. market share across a wider spectrum,” said Iftikhar. “We have the product capabilities required to be more successful in America and needed a good partner to help us with marketing and sales. We feel IHF will be the right partner to help our business grow.”
Tedd Smith, president of IHF, said, “When we were first approached, we talked to several veteran bedding buyers and heard very positive comments. They already had product in some reliable stores over here so we had our technical people check it out and they were very impressed with the quality and the workmanship. We also heard good things about their deliveries.”
IHF covers categories that include conventional and electric blankets, throws and other bedding products.
We would love your feedback!
