Biederlack taps three for product slots

Biederlack of America has named Tony Durham production and manufacturing chief, a new position for this supplier of blankets and throws. In the new post, he will be responsible for all domestic production and will oversee spinning, weaving, finishing, sewing and warehousing. He previously held posts at Rapier Cambridge Mills, Dan River and New Cherokee. He most recently worked at Covington Upholstery Fabrics.

Michelle Harrison has been named sourcing and product development manager, a new position. Her responsibilities include sourcing new product compatible with the company's existing merchandise mix, acting as a liaison with customers and suppliers on customer programs, and addressing ongoing quality control. Her product and manufacturing experience includes positions at Cuddledown of Maine and most recently at L.L. Bean.

Roberta "Bobbi" Mizack joins the company as product manager for sports logo products, a third new position. She joins the company from Majestic Athletic.

Durham, heading production, will report to Richard Alford, president of Biederlack. Harrison and Mizack report to McCabe. All three are based at Cumberland, MD, headquarters.
