Senior executives promoted at TJX

Framingham,Mass.– Off-price retailer The TJX Companies has made a series of promotions across its senior management team in the immediate aftermath of the elevation of president Carol Meyrowitz to president and ceo.
TJX today announced these changes:

Ernie Herrmanhas been promoted to sevp,TJX, from evp, and will remain president, The Marmaxx Group, the Company’s largest division.

Paul Sweetenhamhas been promoted to sevp,TJX, group president,Europe, from his position of president, T.K. Maxx Europe.

Jerome Rossihas been promoted to sevp, group president,TJX, from his post of sevp, coo, The Marmaxx Group.

Richard Sherrhas been promoted to sevp, coo, The Marmaxx Group from his position of evp, chief merchandising officer at The Marmaxx Group.

Nan Stutzhas been promoted to president of the HomeGoods division, having held the post of evp, merchandising, planning and marketing at HomeGoods.

Celia Clancyhas been named president of the A.J. Wright division. Clancy has just joinedTJX; she most recently served as senior operations consultant, specializing in retail and consumer goods for Cerberus Capital Management and spent eight years at Wal-Mart Stores in senior merchant roles.

Ann McCauleyhas been promoted to evp,TJX, general counsel, from her post of svp, general counsel.
Home Textiles Today research pegged TJX ’s home textiles sales for 2005 at $595 million.
