Carpet-Art-Deco appoints evp, sales and marketing

Montreal — Room-size rug manufacturer Carpet-Art-Deco recently appointed George Berbery to the position of executive vp, sales and marketing.
Reporting directly to president Fadi Melki, Berbery replaces Paul Kershaw, who has left the company.
Berbery is a 12-year veteran of the rug industry. He worked for the past three years as the vp, sales and marketing for Secaucus, NJ-based Surya Carpet Inc. He also previously held several sales positions with Beaulieu.
In his new post, Berbery will be responsible for organizing both the sales and marketing teams.
