Clarence House adds Cushing as exec. vp

NEW YORK —
P. Kaufmann, Inc., which has completed the purchase of Clarence House, has named Harry Cushing, executive vp, sales at the new division.
Cushing was formerly president of Kaufmann's Braemore division. Bob White, formerly vp of the company's Folia division, has become executive vp, operations for Clarence House.
Robin Roberts, founder of Clarence House, remains president and creative director, with the responsibility of developing new product, said Ron Kaufmann, president, P. Kaufmann. "Kaufmann is assuming responsibility for the operations and sales of Clarence House and incorporating existing systems, leaving Robin free to do what he does best — creating product."
Chris Shearin, formerly manager of Martha Stewart Signature fabric sales and sales manager for the P. Kaufmann division, has moved to the Braemore division as national sales manager. He continues as manager of Martha Stewart fabric sales.
