SYOSSET, N.Y. —
Stanton Carpet Corporation has created two vice president posts and promoted two executives to fill them.
George Forte, a regional manager for the past five years, was promoted to vice president of sales.
Michael Galuskin, who has been with Stanton for the past six years — most recently as regional manager, and prior to that as a sales representative for the New York City area — was appointed divisional vice president. Both report to Sy Cohen, president.
Forte is responsible for overseeing all of Stanton's sales matters with the exception of the Northeast region. In addition, he will service national accounts and be involved in strategic company decisions.
One of his goals is to hire a Western regional manager to enhance sales in the area.
Galuskin is responsible for Stanton's overall distribution in Canada, as well as generating new programs for major accounts. He retains overall sales responsibility for the Northeast.
We would love your feedback!
