Upstairs kids

New York — Bath and beach towel supplier Terrisol Corp. will for the first time unveil a collection of children's bath towels later this month during spring market.

"We do have some kids' beach towels, but this is the first time we will produce a line of bath towels for kids," Michelle Wright, marketing manager, said. "There's a trend for better quality goods for children. It's based on a growing trend of woman having children later in life when they have more money to spend on them."

Suite Kids is an extension of the existing upstairs Suite dollection. Like its parent line, the Suite Kids ensemble collection is composed of a variety of better quality constructions, including velour prints, jacquards, double jacquards and heat transfer prints. The collection is made in Brazil. Price points are still under development, but Wright said the collection targets catalogs, specialty chains and department stores.
