American Textiles Names Product Manager

Duquesne, Pa. —

The American Textiles Company has appointed Ruth Thompson to the position of senior product manager for bed pillows and mattress pads, reporting to Michael Guidry, vp of product development.

Thompson most recently served as director of product development at Atlantic Luggage Company. Prior to that, she was director of marketing at Heritage Industries.

Jack Ouellette, American Textiles president and ceo, commented, “Ruth Thompson's addition to our product development team is another indication of our dedication to expanding our core pillow cover and mattress cover business into the synthetic pillow and mattress pad fields. We plan a major building expansion later this year to accommodate this explosive growth.”
