ISLIP, NY — Creative Bath Products, based here, has signed a licensing agreement with the Hautman Brothers, nature and wildlife artists, to produce a new line of fabric and vinyl shower curtains and other bath products. The first introduction — four to eight designs including freestanding and coordinated bath products — will be introduced in October at the New York Home Textiles show.
Initially, Creative Bath's Hautman Brothers collection will coordinate with other existing home textile licensees — Regency, manufacturer of bedding, and Biederlack of America, manufacturer of pillows and throws.
Other Hautman Brothers home textile licensees include: Milliken, area rugs; Mosaic Design, comfort mats; and Pimpernel International, place mats and coasters.
"We have more than 400 images to choose from. But we'd like to work with the Hautman Brothers' other home textile licensees, at least initially," said Rick Lipton, national sales manager, Creative Bath Products.
The Hautman Brothers — Jim, Bob and Joe — are the only brothers to ever to win the Federal Duck Stamp contest. All three have also received numerous honors and awards, including many state and national duck stamp competitions.
"Their beautiful artwork and its imagery will allow us to produce photo real images on vinyl and fabric shower curtains," Lipton added.
Lipton said his products will be designed for major catalog, mass and specialty retailers.
"Their artwork bridges so many different looks," Lipton said.
We would love your feedback!
