Revman does it by design

At the New York Market – In a wide-ranging collection of bedding and bath, Revman International is showing lots of yellow shades, color blocking techniques, and the general launch of the Tracy Reese collection that debuted earlier at retailer Anthropologie.

In addition, “We are moving a portion of the Michael Kors Collection to the luxury level,” said Diane Piemonte, vp creative services, with 500-count Italian cotton sateen sheets and Portuguese jacquards. The new styles include Bali, a print in the one of season’s favorite colors – yellow; Carnegie Hill, a herringbone; and Tokyo that reflects the importance of the brown family.

Perry Ellis America is targeted to a younger customer with mini-sets in three introductions – one each for the male and female audience – and color blocks in pinks and blues.

Three new Tracy Reese styles focus on perky colors and sophisticated styles; the new license with Antiques Road Show focuses on six clearly defined and authentically annotated quilt designs.

Tommy Bahama gets major play with seven new beds, four beach towels introductions as well as shower curtains, bath accessories and an expanded free-standing decorative pillow introduction.

In the Tommy Bahama bedding, Grass Cloth combines the fashion forward goldenrod with pearl gray in a casual bed, while Casa Del Mar is fashioned from a dressy jacquard combined with a decorative dobby sheet.

The Laura Ashley Collection gets an updated inspiration from its contemporary British its roots, said Piemonte. It has moved from ditsy English floral heritage to a more contemporary approach to pattern with fresh florals. Vermicelli quilting enhances Caroline, a bed in a yellow print, and Camille is a fresh floral with a traditional English heritage.

As part of the company’s updating move, Laura Ashley will be sporting a new, re-colored logo.

New in Revman’s designer lineup is a group of three upscale beds from Sanctuary by L’Erba, “a more affordable group of luxury beds” from L’Erba, the high style, luxury design house that is affiliated with Revman, said Piemonte.

The fabrics and constructions interpret those in the couture collection with luxury details and the understated color palette.

Columbia Sportswear is enhanced with five new colors in towels and a new product – the All Season Bed. The package includes a duvet cover and an alternative down comforter with the cover designed to cover the comforter in one season, be used alone in another, and the comforter used independently.

Columbia Sportswear also is emphasizing its picnic blankets, throws, decorative pillows, and sweatshirt throws.

Revman also debuts five new beds in its Manor Hill Collection that emphasize hand work and embellishments.
