New York — When he assumes his new role as chairman and ceo of Brylane (USA) January 1, Eric Faintreny will bring with him a long and extensive background within its parent division, Redcats, the home shopping subsidiary of Pinault-Printemps-Redoute Group.

Faintreny has been with the company since 1985, leading the Redcats Nordic division as chairman and ceo since January 2000, as well as serving as chairman of Redcats UK division since March 2002. The division has 20 brands and operations in 18 countries.

He will replace Russell Stravitz, who is resigning.
