ALLENTOWN, PA —
Slipcover manufacturer Sure Fit, which has gained attention for its annual Ugly Couch contest, unveiled its latest venture into the world of decorating, a book.
Titled "Smart, Simple, Chic Decorating Ideas," the 60-page publication is a compilation of decorating ideas and suggestions from consumers who have visited the company's website. Visitors to the company's web site submitted over 800 entries on how to decorate 'smart, simple and chic,' while remaining affordable. The book is being offered through through its website, surefit.com, or by calling the toll-free phone number. Although the book is free, the manufacturer will charge a shipping and handling fee of $3.95.
Seven judges chose 200 winning suggestions, which were compiled for print. Each of the winners received a slipcover of their choice from the company as well as recognition in the soft-cover publication.
Chapters in the book include "Wonderful Windows & Walls," "Savvy Salvage," "Creative Kitchens," and of course, "Slipcover Suggestions."
According to Sure Fit, the company is looking to make the book an annual offering, and plans for next year's publication, perhaps with a different theme, are already in the works.
We would love your feedback!
