Valdese, N.C. – As part of its strategy to separately market the Wesley Mancini by Valdese Weavers product line, apart from the Valdese line, the company has hired Lisa Kakassy as the southeast sales representative for the Wesley Mancini program that will be introduced at Showtime in High Point, N.C.

Kakassy, a veteran of the textiles industry, most recently spent almost eight years as a sales representative for Quaker. She began her textiles career in 1982 when she was hired as a designer for Broyhill. She was named vp of the Premier division at Broyhill in 1994. Prior to joining Quaker she was with Covington.
“We feel it is important for the market to recognize the distinction between the new brand and our Valdese Weavers product line,” said president Mike Shelton.
Valdese earlier announced that it would open a separate showroom on the seventh floor of the Market Square Tower in High Point for the new product line.
We would love your feedback!
