Kaufman promoted at Linens 'N Things

CLIFTON, NJ — Jeffrey Kaufman has been promoted to the new position of senior vp, supply chain management at Linens 'N Things.
Kaufman, who joined the company in 1996 from Macy's East, most recently was vp, gmm, for home textiles. His responsibilities include logistics, replenishment and planning. Elaine Smith, formerly vp, replenishment and planning, has left the company. Kaufman reports to Steve Silverstein, president.
In addition, Violet Beneciuk, most recently buyer of pillows and pads, has been promoted to dmm, responsible for towels, bath shop, and alternative bedding, a new position. She also reports to Silverstein.
Before joining Linens 'N Things, Beneciuk was with Stern's, Paramus, NJ.
