Minneapolis — Target has refuted recent allegations by the U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission that the company has been unfair in its hiring practices and has discriminated against qualified black applicants.
The EEOC last week filed a lawsuit against Target regarding three applicants in the Milwaukee area.
According to Todd Blackwell, senior vp, human resources, Target Stores and Target Corporation, "Target Corporation is, and always will be, an equal opportunity employer. We are proud of our track record and commitment to diversity in our workforce."
