Boca Raton, FL — Hollander Home Fashions has signed a lease to open an office and showroom in Shanghai, China, expected to be ready Dec. 1. The company has also increased its Canadian operations in Toronto by 40 percent with an additional 45,000 square feet on its existing facility.

Hollander is currently also in negotiations to expand its manufacturing in mainland China, where it has five factories in Huangzou, as well as domestically in the greater Chicago, Los Angeles and Frackville, PA areas, close to where its plants are located. According to president and coo Jeff Hollander, "We still see the U.S. as a viable center for manufacturing as long as it is done with a global perspective."
