Hauppauge, NY — Crestmont Fabrics will launch the first collection of a joint venture with Edinburgh Weavers Ltd. at Showtime in High Point, NC, this week.
Crestmont, a converter of multi-purpose and drapery solid-color and textured fabrics, will introduce 18 patterns in 75 skus under the EW Collection label, said Paul Harris, Crestmont's ceo.
The prints are on two base cloths: a cotton/linen blend for drapery, upholstery and top of the bed applications; and a polyester voile burnout.
"We think the styling and quality of Edinburgh's line will make a great addition to Crestmont," Harris added. "It's a venue we have been contemplating for a while, and with Edinburgh we think it is an appropriate platform to enter the print business."
Lars Lund, director of the Lancashire, England-based print company, said, "With this joint venture, Edinburgh hopes to use Crestmont as entry to the U.S. market to build on an already strong European business."
We would love your feedback!
