Boulder, Colo. -- Outlast Technologies, developer of temperature-regulating fibers, fabrics and coatings, has introduced a three-tier comfort rating system for products using its trademarked Outlast technology, which is used in such goods as mattress pads, blankets, comforters and pillows.Outlast Comfort Rating applies Gold, Silver, and Bronze designations to indicate a product’s thermal phase-change performance level.
The system has been incorporated into graphics on package inserts, hangtags and related signage for products made by such licensed manufacturers as Select Comfort, Carpenter, and Sealy.
“It’s a simple way to explain a fairly complicated technology,” said Outlast vp Guy Eckert. “We wanted a consumer-friendly label that is easily recognizable, conveys specific performance levels, and offers licensees and retail partners a vehicle to differentiate themselves from their competition.”
We would love your feedback!
