Delia's names new president

NEW YORK — Delia's Corp. has hired Andrea Weiss as president and named her to a seat on the company's board of directors.
Weiss was most recently executive vp and chief stores officer of The Limited. Previously, she was president of retail at Guess, where she was involved in taking the company public. Her retail background also includes Ann Taylor Stores, where she was senior vp and director of stores, and The Walter Disney Company, where she was director of merchandise operations.
At Delia's, she will help direct the company's strategy and oversee all operating divisions, including Delia's Direct catalog and Internet division and Delia's 36-unit retail division. She reports to Stephen Kahn, chairman and ceo.
Evan Guillemin, formerly president, will become coo, reporting to Weiss. He will oversee the Direct division, replacing Estelle DeMuesy, who left the company to pursue other opportunities.
