Capel makes it official for president and ceo Hric

Troy, N.C. – Four-generation family owned and operated Capel Inc. has officially appointed Bruce Hric as its president and ceo -- conjoined posts he held on an interim basis for the past 14 months.

“The future of Capel is in good hands with this promotion,” said Jesse Capel, director and owner of the company. Capel Inc.'s board of directors made the announcement of Hric’s promotion, which becomes effective on Dec. 1.

Hric, who has been with Capel for the past nine years, most recently focused on product development, strengthening key industry relationships and reinvigorating Capel's braided rug manufacturing efforts.

“I am looking forward to taking on the challenges of today's industry and building on Capel's 90 years of stellar performance," Hric said.

Prior to his tenure with Capel, Hric served as a vp of Koury Corporation for 13 years, vp of finance and administration for Interline Furniture for two years, and worked with Flynt Fabrics for eight years.
