Majestic hires Griffin

HAWORTH, NJ —

Area, accent and scatter rug importer Majestic Rug Co., based here, has hired Maureen Griffin has been hired as the company's director of marketing and sales promotions. The position was newly created for Griffin.

Griffin was working for the past nine months as a South Florida-based freelance marketing consultant in various industries, including home textiles. Prior to that, she spent three years — from 1998 to 2001 — working as director of public relations for area rug importer Couristan.
