Sanko Buys German Firm

Sanko Towel, a major Turkish manufacturer, has purchased Germany towel brand Egeria.

Calling the Egeria name well-recognized across Europe, Sanko Towel said its mills “will produce Egeria Germany's huge towel collection in Turkey.” The company said it intends to increase its market share by selling the Egeria product lines into both Europe and the United States.

“Sanko Towel is planning to make new investments… in order to cover the needed capacity which will increase” with the Egeria-branded business, the company said.
