FORT MILL, SC —
Springs Industries will soon have a Cat in the Hat on its showroom floor as the result of a new license signed with Universal Studios.
Under the agreement, Springs is developing and producing bedroom and bathroom ensembles featuring Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat and its accompanying characters. The latest license to join Springs' stable is scheduled to be unveiled during the New York Home Textiles Market in late March/early April 2003. Bed and bath items, fabrics and crafts, body pillows and area rugs make up the line.
In addition, Springs has expanded its partnership with Coca-Cola to include a bedding collection and also unveiled during the recent home textiles market a Dexter's Lab collection from the Cartoon Network and Warner Bros.
According to Nancie Siegal, director of marketing for licensed products. "We're excited to welcome Universal Studios and the 2003 movie release of "Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat" to Springs, and we're looking forward to bringing this cat and his very distinguishable hat to life in everyone's rooms."
We would love your feedback!
