828 Int'l names new vice president

GREENVILLE, SC -Rug manufacturer 828 International Trading Co. named Glen Syvertsen vp, a newly created position.
Syvertsen, who will be based in Alpharetta, GA, will focus on increasing sales and market share by working with existing dealers and building new business with specialty retailers and national accounts. His will report to Ivan Philips, executive vp.
Syvertsen was previously territory manager for Karastan, a division of Mohawk Industries.
