New York —
Rafael Rodriguez has joined WestPoint Home as executive vp of operations and supply chain, effective immediately.
He succeeds Chris Baker, who left the company last month to join Hollander Home Fashions as ceo. Baker had been chief operating officer at WestPoint.
Prior to joining WestPoint, Rodriguez was vp market leader for Operations Associates, a consulting organization that creates customized global supply chain solutions. Before that, he was vp of global supply chain management strategy for $4 billion consumer products company Hanesbrands Inc. He held various positions in divisions of Sara Lee Corporation/Playtex, which spun off Hanesbrands in 2006. Those positions included vp of operations for the Caribbean, director of operations for Puerto Rico, and country manager for the Dominican Republic.
He will report to WestPoint president and ceo John Piazza, also a former Sara Lee executive. Rodriguez will be based in North Carolina, but will also have an office as WestPoint's headquarters in New York.
We would love your feedback!
