Dan River adds new staff

NEW YORK -- Dan River has named Don Whittam senior vice president of sales and marketing for department and specialty store accounts, effective Sept. 19. He will report to Daniel Hammer and be based in New York.

A 21-year veteran of the industry, Whittam was most recently national sales manager for Nautica Home at American Pacific.

Earlier in the year, Dan River hired Keith Haygood as vice president of national sales and Susan Meek as vice president of corporate licensing and marketing for adult and juvenile bedding plus external communications.
