New York – With the launch of Calvin Klein Studio, the company is appealing to a younger customer and a range of bedding that is definitely color-oriented.
The three duvets and coordinating quilt are keyed to mid-price points, and in a departure from typical Calvin Klein Home bedding, each is offered in more than one color. The fabrics are textured and more casual than the step up Collection and White Label offerings.
In addition, Calvin Klein Studio features Split Stitch sheeting with a sewn pleat hem in eight colors in 300 count cotton percale.
Studio also features 11 decorative pillows that work with each of the beds and are priced from $100 to $160.
Studio duvets are $200 for the queen; sheets are $60 for the queen.
Three new beds are featured in the Calvin Klein Home Collection with Gardenia, a dark yarn dyed woven with a percale print sheet and a piece dyed jacquard coverlet. Paisley in an oversized interpretation of a paisley on a 280 count sateen, while Mercury Flower is a soft print on 220 count cotton.
The queen duvets are $250 to $280; queen sheeting is $80 to $100.
In White Label, four new styles have been added in both duvet sets and comforter sets, with retails at $150 and $170 respectively for the queen.
Magnolia is a 250-count cotton sateen print duvet; Isla is a geometric prints, Pelham is a woven stripe and Cayman features a pearlescent finish.
Calvin Klein Home also is launching the Lounge Rib towel in 12 colors at $17 for the bath.
