Family Dollar taps Avalon for logistics

Matthews, N.C. — Family Dollar Stores has named Raina Avalon as vp - transportation. Avalon most recently was director, transportation operations at Dollar General.

Family Dollar executive vp - supply chain Charlie Gibson said, "With more than 22 years of experience in transportation and logistical operations, Raina is a talented addition to our leadership team."
