Bargoose Home Textiles spun off by Priva

Lynbrook , N.Y. – Priva USA , formerly a division of Montreal-based Priva Inc., has been taken private and will now be doing business as Bargoose Home Textiles Inc.

As Bargoose, the company will continue to supply protective bedding products for the hospitality, healthcare, allergy, and infant markets.

Priva Inc., manufacturer of absorbent and waterproof textiles, entered into an agreement to sell the U.S. subsidiary to Michael Rattner, an officer, and Diane Rattner.

Under terms of the sale, Priva USA made a cash payment to its former Canadian parent to settle just under $2.1 million in debt.
