Kravet to step up the pace following acquisition

Bethpage, NY — Kravet Fabrics has purchased G.P. & J. Baker Ltd. of Great Britain, a 115-year-old decorative fabric company with royal warrants.
Peter Hill, who has been running the Kravet operations in the United Kingdom, also will run the Baker business, said Cary Kravet, president of Kravet.
Kravet has been distributing the line in the United States and "we will now get aggressive about its position in this country," said Kravet.
