Anchor Home Expands Showroom

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 8/7/2007 12:00:00 AM

After spending the past decade in a cozy 900-square-foot corner space, Anchor Home Products has moved into a new and larger showroom at 295 Fifth Avenue to accommodate its growing soft window and kitchen textiles lines. The new showroom is No. 1603, which measures 1,200 square feet. The former space was No. 701.

"Yes, we've got a new showroom, but we're the same friendly faces as always," said Frank Petronzio, president and owner of the company. He described the new suite as "an open and bright space that really gives us an opportunity to better feature our window treatments, licensed kitchen textiles, and regular open stock line."

At the forefront this market on display at the showroom is Anchor's latest collection of Versa-Tie window valances — the company's own trademarked and patented line of adjustable-top tiers. There are six new mix-and-match striped and floral patterns.

In kitchen textiles, Anchor has added 12 new patterns — all adaptations of licensed artwork by various artists. One example is Fruit Swirl.
