Springs debuts pair of Wamsutta sheet programs

At Market --Springs Global launched two new sheet programs here, one a luxury story and the other a performance item.

Wamsutta DreamZone employs an extra-fine denier, lone-staple Egyptian cotton to create a lustrous-looking sheet with a rich hand. Although DreamZone is being shown in 500-count form, "Thread count is not the only story," said Leslie Gillock, vp, brand management. "The point being, it provides an indulgent experience."

A special finish gives the sateen sheet extra softness, according to Daniel Soppa, sheet merchandise manager.

Springs' new Wamsutta Sleepology sheet is a wrinkle-free sheet treated to "return the coolness," said Gillock, who noted that traditional wrinkle-free sheets often sleep warm because the treatment that prevents wrinkling also inhibits cotton's natural moisture management properties.
