Foamex emerges from Chapter 11

Linwood,Pa.– Foam product supplier Foamex International has effectively emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and has named Gregory Christian president. He was formerly executive vp, chief restructuring officer and general counsel.
Raymond Mabus, chairman and ceo, said, “Foamex is emerging as a stronger, leaner company, with a reinvigorated business and the financial flexibility needed to compete and be the industry leader.”
Foamex expected to make all distributions of common stock issuances in accord with the plan this week.
