Scala to Head Waverly Home Fashions

Budd Goldman, ceo of Ellery HomeStyles, has announced the appointment of Chip Scala to the newly created position of president of the Waverly Home Fashions division.
Scala comes to Waverly with a wealth of industry knowledge based on his endeavors with his own company, Scala International, as well as from his tenure at CHF (Cameo Curtain) and Croscill.
“Chip will be instrumental in the growth plans that our company has formulated for the Waverly Home Fashions business,” commented Bruce Garfinkel, president of Ellery Homestyles. Scala will be responsible for all facets of Waverly Home Fashions product development and design, merchandising, marketing and sales. He will report to Garfinkel and Goldman.
Ellery HomeStyles supplies private label and Waverly branded home fashion products to major retailers. The company, which traces its roots to 1924, designs and produces window curtains, bedding, decorative pillows and throws, slip covers, and seasonal throws.
Waverly is the oldest continuously advertised home fashions brand in America. Ellery is also the exclusive licensee for the KAS Australia home furnishings collection of bedding, decorative pillows and throws.
