Designers form Kline and Roth Private Label

Claverack, N.Y. – Pamela Kline of Traditions by Pamela Kline here, a luxury linens designer/supplier, together with Tom Roth of Weathervane Hill, have formed a new company, Kline and Roth Private Label.
The company combines the sourcing expertise and textiles knowledge of Roth and the design and marketing talent of Kline. The new business, apart from each partner’s existing businesses, will focus on custom design programs and product development for catalogs, department stores e-commerce and mass merchants.
Shari Kline, president of Traditions by Pamela Kline, has been named president of Kline and Roth Private Label. "One of the most important things is the excitement they create together," she remarked. "Pamela seems to be ahead of the trends every time, and Tom has incredible connections. The most exciting part is seeing Pamela and Tom working together. They have such a similar aesthetic."
For the new venture, "we will target customers that Traditions couldn’t sell because of price points or distribution. We’ll offer sourcing and a special twist in design." Traditions will do fabrications here in Columbia County as well as finished product in Portugal, India and Italy – about a 50/50 mix, Kline related.
The company will focus on developing bed linens, sleepwear, decorative accessories and other home furnishings with an emphasis on quality, branding and positioning in the marketplace.
