Ex-Culp execs to service domestic and int'l mills

HIGH POINT, NC —
Tim Dolan and Steve Graven, both former Culp Inc. executives, have resigned to form Global Textile Alliance, based here.
Dolan, formerly vp, Culp Textures, and Graven, vp, international sales, will offer domestic and international mills design, sales and marketing services for residential fabrics.
"We will form alliances with mills both domestic and international to provide design direction, color work and finishing, and for the international companies we will bring the goods to the United States and warehouse and distribute for them," Dolan explained.
While the world market is their overall target, "for the first year, we will focus on Canadian and U.S. alliances," Dolan said.
