Finn gets sales post at Scalamandré

NEW YORK — William Finn has been named vice-president of national sales for Scalamandré, the luxury home furnishings house which specializes in fabrics, trimmings, carpets and furniture.

"William Finn is a highly respected textile industry veteran, and we are very fortunate to have him as our vice-president of national sales ," said Mark Bitter, CEO and co-president of the company. "His depth of knowledge of the industry will be invaluable to the growth of Scalamandré."

Finn spent 12 years at Schumacher, where he worked himself up from sales to rep to sales manager/co-national sales manager.

In 1997, he left Schumacher to become vice-president of sales and marketing for Westgate Fabrics Inc., in Dallas, Texas, where he remained until 1999. He was subsequently appointed national sales manager for International Textiles Corporation, located in New York City.
